The Idea!!! For countless summers, me and my friends' would gather in my back yard and play cards as I manned the grill making everything from ribs to barbecued chicken. One wet Friday afternoon, as I waited to see if my friends would come over despite the rain, in my boredom, I decided to slice the chicken up into smaller more edible chunks. I began to brainstorm and figure out what I can add to this chicken to make it more accommodating to the pallet. I started to search the pantry and fridge to find just the right combination of seasonings and spices to make the dish different but irresistible. I experimented with several combinations due to the fact that no one was brave enough to weather the storm taking place outside of my garage. In the coming weeks, I continued to search for the perfect combination. Until one day, I decided to add peppers to the seasonings and spices that I already decided were a great addition to the grilled chicken. Approximately 6 weeks after the first experiment, one of the usual suspects saw me eating my invention and decided it looked good enough to try. As he was in awe of how delicious this Sandwich was, the fear suddenly escaped the rest of the visitors and they began to pile up this dish onto French bread that was available for barbecue sandwiches. At this point, everyone was amazed at how great this dish was and I finally figured that I finally found the perfect dish that I was in search of! In the coming weeks, my friends began to ask me to make them their own personal amount for others to taste. The requests began to get so overwhelming that I found myself grilling chicken on my grill in the middle of a snowy winter just to accommodate the large amounts of requests that i was receiving on a daily basis. Finally, I received a request from a huge corporation to bring a sample so they can taste it. My popularity for this great dish had spread across the state line, and at that point, I knew that I had found something worth chasing as a dream! The Corporation was so impressed that they required me to facilitate their company with sandwiches and full trays of my invention on a regular basis. In getting together with several marketing and sales teams that were willing to just purchase the product for large amounts of money. I decided not to just sell out and deliver my invention to them, but to keep it as a small entity in order to still accommodate the financial structure of your purchasing power to be able to still offer my product to all the local and not so big people! The sandwiches have gotten so popular that I now work 16-18 hours a day just to accommodate all of the requests. Today, I am working on making the sandwiches more available to all that are interested, and believe it or not, I have been to hundreds of venues, and no one has ever been disappointed and I still continue to draw rave reviews and requests as the only meal available that night! I am no longer just a local vendor of special chicken sandwiches; I am now available for worldwide consumption! From a rainy day, to worldwide availability, I now bring you "Lee's Chicken Sam'miches"!
